The CCA Creative Writing Club

The CCA Creative Writing Club is a student-run ASB club at Canyon Crest Academy High School and is open to all students enrolled at CCA. The purpose of this club is to provide creative writing opportunities and create a safe and open environment to share and discuss writing projects and techniques for students at Canyon Crest Academy through club events and special writing seminars and meetings. Furthermore, the club is committed to hosting a free creative writing conference for local high school students.

Canyon Crest Academy

Canyon Crest Academy is a public high school and forms part of the San Dieguito Union High School District. CCA is a learning community based on the values of shared responsibility and mutual respect among teachers, staff, parents and students. Canyon Crest Academy commits to providing positive, meaningful and rigorous learning experiences that promote the intellectual, social, physical and creative development of students. The curriculum responds to evolving student interests and includes specialized and in-depth studies. Students are supported in taking intellectual and creative risks as they engage in their studies. Directions to CCA

Take Highway 56 east from Interstate 5. Take the Carmel Valley Road exit off the 56. Turn left (north) on Carmel Valley Road. Turn right at the sign that says Del Mar Heights Road (which is Village Center Loop Road, although there is currently no sign to indicate the name). CCA is on the right at the corner of Carmel Valley Road and Village Center Loop Road.
